Lela Chaffin - Practice Manager

Lela has been an integral part of the Companion Animal Care Center team since its founding in February 2000. She earned her Associate of Arts degree in Secretarial Science/Business from MidAmerica Nazarene University in Olathe, Kansas, and brings more than 30 years of business experience to her role.

Lela values the opportunity to combine her professional background with her love for animals, contributing to a compassionate and well-run practice.

Outside of work, Lela enjoys music and serves as a worship leader at her local church, where she sings and plays piano. Having grown up on a farm in South Dakota, she also loves spending time outdoors walking and hiking with her husband, Dr. Chaffin, and their English Springer Spaniels, Rex and Tami (Tamarack). Her other interests include cooking, baking, and crafting. She shares her home with Rex, Tami, and their cat, Gemi.
