Dr. Ken Chaffin serves as Medical Director at Companion Animal Care Center, bringing more than 30 years of veterinary experience to the team. He earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from MidAmerica Nazarene University in Olathe, Kansas, and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1994.
Dr. Chaffin has a strong clinical interest in surgery, including orthopedics, as well as dentistry. He is committed to delivering high-quality care and supporting the continued growth of a skilled and compassionate veterinary team.
Outside of work, Dr. Chaffin is actively involved in his church community, serving on the church board, singing on the worship team, and leading a weekly Bible study. A Minnesota native, he also enjoys following Minnesota sports teams, fishing, hiking, building campfires, and traveling to the North Shore with his wife, Lela. He shares his home with his English Springer Spaniels, Rex and Tami (Tamarack), and his cat, Gemi.
