Dr. Evan Ward, a native of Fairmont, Minnesota, earned his undergraduate degrees in Biology and Business Administration from Augustana University in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, in 2019. He went on to receive his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2023.
During his training, Dr. Ward gained valuable hands-on experience through a variety of unique opportunities, including an internship at the Great Plains Zoo in Sioux Falls and work at an animal rescue center in Guatemala. Following graduation, he joined the team at Companion Animal Care Center, where he enjoys working with a diverse range of cases, from routine wellness exams to emergency care
Dr. Ward has broad interests in both veterinary medicine and surgery and is passionate about providing high-quality care for his patients. He values the dynamic nature of clinical practice and the opportunity to continually learn and grow.
Outside of work, Dr. Ward enjoys spending time outdoors. His hobbies include hiking, biking, gardening, and boating.
Dr. Ward looks forward to building relationships with clients and providing compassionate care to pets in Winona and the surrounding communities.
